Student Life
From athletics to spiritual growth, GCS is committed to building a strong foundation for our students
Our school days are about so much more than education. These are the years we grow, physically, mentally, and of course, spiritually. At GCS, we aim to develop a foundation that our students can build on for the rest of their lives, whatever careers they go on to enjoy and decisions they will need to make in this ever-changing world.
Spiritual Growth
We aim to offer a caring and nurturing atmosphere that balances academic success with a fully rounded spiritual existence. We adhere to these much-loved traditions:

Weekly Church Services
Spiritual growth is paramount at GCS, and the weekly services help to share the word of God with all of our students. These services are held at Christ the King Anglican Church, bringing everyone closer to God's own creation and giving students the chance to read from the scriptures, lead in songs, and serve on the altar. Though it is an Anglican service, people from other denominations are welcome.
Fruit of the Spirit
There are nine core qualities that we like to encourage in our students: love, joy, peace, Patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control. These are the attributes they will need to lead happy and fulfilling lives while bringing light into the lives of the people around them.
Big Buddies and Little Buddies Program
One of GCS's most successful programs has been our Big and Little Buddies Program. We pair each of our 8th grade students with a partner from K-5 and 7th grade students with a partner from K-4. These "buddies" meet several times a year, where the older students provide support, advice, and someone to talk to. Strong bonds are formed, and the young students always have a role model to look up to over the course of their time at Grace Christian School.
Graduation
This major milestone in every student's life is a great cause for celebration here at Grace Christian School. A tearful final walk through the Courtyard takes place before students, dressed in their finest, receive their 8th grade diploma.
CarePortal
Grace Christian School is proud to announce our new partnership with CarePortal, a powerful outreach initiative that helps families in need right here in Ocala and Marion County. As a designated drop-off and pick-up location, we are blessed to serve our community and demonstrate Christ’s love by providing vital resources to those in need. Join us in this mission to honor and glorify God as we work together to support families.
