I want to thank everyone for a great start to the school year. Students are settling into their routine and bonding with their classmates. We are blessed with many new families who have joined the Grace community. I look forward to getting to know you all throughout the year.

We are excited about our Taste of Grace theme this year; Blues and BBQ. This annual event has become one of the highlights of the year. Please join us November 3rd from 6pm-9pm at Grace Christian School for an adult evening of delicious food (catered by Brick City Southern Kitchen), yummy desserts, drink, and fellowship while raising money for the school. Don’t forget that our classes compete in the dessert challenge for the coveted “Chef’s Hat” and dance party. Last year Middle school took the win…who will take the win this year? You can purchase tickets in the office or online at gcsocala.com. For more information about this even please contact Kristin Dean at kdean@gcsocala.com.

Summertime, and the livin’ is easy… I want to take a moment to thank some special people who have made an impact on our Grace family. Kelsy Smith will be taking some time off to enjoy her new baby girl Selah. Jon Miller is moving to Tampa with his family. Genna Ankney is retiring after many years of service wearing many different hats. Sharon Whitehouse retired back in January after many years teaching our children to love the gift of music.
